I understand the need to monetize, however, this came across as more of a bait and switch.

The decision-maker for me was displaying pop-ups for my clients when they logged in. Having confused clients emailing me because a plugin was interrupting them when logged into WP with confusing pop-up messages is unacceptable.

If it wasn’t for that, I may have considered recommending some clients to go with the premium solution if they were interested in keeping their dashboard stats. With the way this was done, though, I no longer trust the plugin owners.

    Bye Felicia.
