Hi! I’m loving this plugin, it’s so much simpler and cleaner than the other calendar plugins I’ve used. For this site, which will be a private family site for booking their shared cabin, they don’t need any times to display. Is there a way to either disable the automatic time-setting that happens when you create an event, or a way to hide the display of times in month, list and single events? I’m using the free version.

    Thanks!
    Lisa

  • Good evening @lisath

    Thank you for reaching out.
It sounds like you are mainly interested in all-day events.

Removing the time functionality completely will most likely create issues, but you can certainly “cheat” a little.

There are two things you could do in my opinion:

    1. Using a template override, you can make it so that the events default to all-day upon creation. Here’s a forum thread that should give you a head start. For more info on customization, you should take a look at our customization guide. Just to set expectations, although customization is definitely possible, we don’t offer support for it. At best, we can point you in the right direction to get started (like I just did)
    2. Secondly, if you use the following extension, there is an option in there to disable time display on the month view

    Hopefully, that helps,
    Geoff
