    Hello Sir,

    I want to build a website like Unsplash ( https://unsplash.com ) or Pexels ( https://www.pexels.com ) — using WordPress.

basically, People are going to upload pictures to the website.

    THE ISSUE
I want to offload all these pictures to Google Cloud, but I want Admin uploaded pictures to remain in the Media Library, while all uploads by users should be offloaded to Google Cloud.

Can I achieve this, with your plugin?

    Thanks.

    Hello @mionigba ,

Thanks for your interest in our product.
WP-Stateless is build to keep all WordPress uploads on Google Cloud Storage. Currently it does not provide any functionality to separate which files should upload to Google Storage and which should not.

    Thanks!

Thank You very much for your reply.

You see, in life, nothing in the Tech space is actually cast in stone.

The fact that the plugin doesn’t have the functionality to separate which files should upload to Google Storage and which should not, does not mean that it cannot be done.

So, Please consider this as a feature request:

FEATURE REQUEST: upload files by User Role
Update and extend the WP Stateless plugin to be able to filter which files it should upload to Google Storage and which should not.

It should do this filtering by User Role— in which case Admin should be able to exclude which User Role uploads should not be offloaded to Google Storage.

Would you consider adding this request to your next update of the plugin?

    Thanks.
