don’t reload header.php | audio player difficulty

  • Hey everyone. This is probably pretty stupid, however may search for solutions wasn’t successful. Perhaps you can help me out:

    I put the wp audio player by Martin Laine into my header.php (see screenshot). It’s working perfectly. However every time I go to a different page, the header.php and thus the included music player reload and therefore the songs restarts. Question: How can I prevent this from happening?

    Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I have the same problem. All the players I looked at stop playing when browsing to a new page.

    I think you won’t be able to solve this since you are always reloading the page. The solution may be using iframes so you will be reloading only the lower frame, but your top one stays intact (unless you hit reload in a browser).

    Is there a solution to this problem?

    I was using the SCM player and it was working wonderfully, until I updated wordpress to 2.8.1 and now it’s stopped working ??

    SCM is working fine again, perhaps there was just a problem on the SCM server. (even though the code is on your wordpress site, and the music hosted anywhere, I gather that it needs to communicate with the mothership, probably to get the flash that makes the player)

    It’s really a great plugin, try it out folks!
