    Hi there,

I have a question in regards to your plugin. I just installed it and tried using it on my site. So i’m having a problem with the custom content types that i create via your plugin. In particular, when editing pages created through any of the content types generated by your plugin, i don’t see certain native elements of my theme.

For example, my them has some builtin functionalities such as “hide/show page title”, “hide/show breadcrumbs”, “select sidebar”, etc. So when i create a page under content type that i created via your plugin, those functionalities are not there.

Would you help with identifying what is interfering?

    Thanks

Pages and Posts are different things within a theme. It’s possible your theme is restricting some of that functionality specifically to the ‘post’ post-type. Certain items may only be registered as meta-boxes for the ‘page’ post type.

If it’s a premium theme, have you escalated to their support first to make sure their theme works for custom post types, or how to modify it to work with custom post types?

We’re happy to help you, but most of those things are very much ‘theme’ specific and just need to have the functions.php (or the theme files for archives and single posts) to be modified to work for other post types.

Sounds good, let us know what you find out (also wouldn’t hurt to know what theme it was). Good luck!

    Hey,

Yes, so my developer figure it out how to set it up after talking to theme developer. There is a specific way to make it work on my theme. Here is the theme i’m using https://3clicks.bringthepixel.com/ .

    Thanks
