don't see folders and pictures when on page or post

I am using the Spacious theme for a (not yet online) website.
In the Media file manager I made folders and added pictures to them by FTP in the right folder. In the MFM folders I do see all those pictures.
BUT!When on a page or post I want to add a picture, non of the made folders are showing and I cannot add a picture.
What is wrong?
