Don't see my format bar

  • It’s been a while, but I can’t seem to see my format bar/text bar (you know the one you can put your text bold, underline, etc..) at the top when I want to write a new post on my blog. I can’t even click on the tap “visual” or “text”. When I write an article my text appears white, I have to select it to see what I’ve written. And today, it seems that I can’t add pictures. I’m getting frustrated. Anyone can help with this?

  • Are you using the latest WordPress version?
    Did you try to deactivate your plugins?

    I did try to deactivate my plugins but I didn’t see a difference.
    Its says that I have the latest version of WordPress but at the same time it’s telling me that I have an update to do. And each time I do the update for the new WordPress version, when it’s done it’s still telling that I have an update to do.

    Similar problem with me.

    Lower of two formatting bars is missing – the one that had font style (paragraph, header, etc) and colour, and some other stuff in it

    Whoops, and apologies. After wasting much of my own and then your time, I have just found the toolbar toggle.

    Much embarrassment and shame.
