Don’t show shipping for events

  • At the moment when someone goes to book an event it makes them select delivery however there is nothing physical to ship. Does anyone know how to remove shipping for orders that exclusively have events.

    We also have physical products on the site so I’d need shipping to show if they also had physical items in their basket as well as an event. However if it’s only an event it’s unnecessary to have shipping options.

    Thanks for your message, The events are saved as virtual products so the Shipping is not show for the virtual product but if the event and product are both in the cart then the shipping will show for the Woocommerce Products.

    You can check Event Settings -> Single Event Settings -> On/Off Shipping Method on event

    By default the value should be No.
