    Guys why did you remove the “don’t sync categories” feature?????
    Square doesn’t manage categories and subcategories and now all my products are messy!!
    OMG… This means the SEO (links of my categories and products) is f******! My links are broken!

    I had a different category-arrangement in my physical store… Now all my products are messy!

    I wanna die………..

    This plugin doesn’t ensure any data consistency. We need a serious e-commerce, we aren’t playing. We have customers, we lost customers because of this plugin (I will open another topic for other problems).

    Please fix this!

    I’m so sorry to hear that the updated feature changes with Square were so disruptive to your store.

    At this point, there is no immediate plan to replace the “don’t sync categories” functionality in updated versions of the Square plugin.

    Since this is a critical and immediate issue for your store, one option would be to disable sync so that your WooCommerce categories are not overwritten on the Square side.

    You might also consider getting in touch with a developer and have a customization put together to exclude category data from the sync from Square – for customizations: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/
