• If there was a way to select zero stars I would do it.

I have been using the free Time.ly calendar app for quite a number of years. It has worked perfectly well for the few dozen events that our club hosts each year. An email encouraged me to drop the current version and upgrade.

When I uploaded the .ics file to reload the old and future event data I was informed that I had exceeded the 100 event limit and that I needed to contact them to discuss pricing options. This was the first I knew of this. There was no mention of this limitation before the upgrade. In addition, the familiar interface has gone and the new one appears very clunky. I still haven’t been able to get it to work and customer support, which used to be very good, is sadly lacking since the upgrade.

Please also note that one has to create an account with Time.ly before one is able to fully activate the plugin. It’s therefore no longer a freestanding app, but is linked to their central site.

I’m now in the process of finding another calendar app.
