don’t update to Twenty seventeen version 2.1

It seems that Twenty seventeen version 2.1 causes havoc with this plugin. I switched back to version 2.0 and it is working correctly again. I am running wordpress 5.1. I had to switch themes, delete twenty seventeen theme, and then reload version 2.0 which I found here:
