?We will be very candid in sharing our perspective regarding this.
?Few weeks back, one of our customer wrote to us that his auctions sent out multiple emails to the winner. When we came to know this, we had asked multiple questions to that customer regarding the settings that he had activated so that we can write certain test scenarios to replicate similar issue in our in-house test servers. We did rigorous testing with multiple users but were unable to reproduce the same problem.
?
?Now, since the issue was related to multiple emails, we also thought that this might trigger multiple auto debits, multiple SMS and thus though we were not able to reproduce the problem, what we decided was to introduce certain new variables inside the code which will be set once first instance of email, auto debit API call or SMS API call is made and then the code will always check the status of that variable before calling these external functions and this would make sure that if there is any scenario where multiple calls were being made then that would stop it.
?
?We coded this and released our plugin update.
?
?So, as developers of the plugin, we have done our part and released plugin update to tackle such error and it has worked for customer who initially complained regarding multiple emails.
?
?Now, you did not update the plugin and there might have been a scenario where multiple auto debits happened. If you would have updated the plugin then we are sure that you would not have such problem.
?
?Hence, as plugin developers we have always done our part and as plugin users you had missed out on updating the plugin and thus when we read such reviews, we really feel very disappointed.
If you would have updated the plugin, this issue would not have happened.
