Nope it will not show no matter what, also the author is no where to be seen use this instead it works fine (it says it is not tested on the current version of wp but its fine and its free: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-topbar/

Same problem. Too bad, it looked promising.

Same problem for me. Too bad. I liked the plugin while it worked. Will have to look elsewhere now.

I’ve got it working on 7 out of my 8 websites with no problems whatsoever.. all using the same theme.. yet one of the sites just won’t show?! Weird

EDIT: It’s ok, it was my caching plugin “WP Rocket” I needed to tweak the CSS and/or Javascript settings (not sure which, but I changed them both and it works!!)

you must be using an old version of wp or an old template/theme. it works for nobody else, you sure it is working on front end and not just backend…

I had downloaded the latest version from the website and it didn’t work for me. Am loving wp-topbar, suggested by previous post. I can recommend it.

Yup we use it ourselves from time to time on our website for random announcements.

No, otherway around. The websites that are all up to date are working fine, this one however has a slightly older version of wordpress and it’s being flaky (I can’t update it because of a custom built plugin we’re using)

I’m now having an issue where the notification bar only shows if logged in?? Really strange, still absolutely fine on my other sites

    Hi

On Divi, I got it working my disabling the fixed header in Divi.
On the Elegant Themes website, the alternative fix is to change the z-index on the WPfront container, and force the divi menu down the page a bit.

I am aware that these are not satisfactory solutions, but perhaps they will provide enough diagnostics for someone smarter/more motivated than me to find a proper fix.

    All:

Had a similar problem. This might help:

Uncheck the box titled, “Keep Closed.”

    Cheers!
