    Hi,

Thank you for this wonderful plugin.

But today I downloaded version 4.6.1 with the database update, and since then no downloads work.
    I tried different solutions:
    – Recreate upgrade environment
    – Disabling the cache (WP rocket)
    – Removal of .htaccess
    – Import new item with Download Monitor
Nothing works and gives the same error.
When I try to upload a document I get the following errors:
Link provided by Download Monitor: Network error at the end of the download, document not downloaded
Direct link: https://segpa.org/wp-content/uploads/dlm_uploads/2022/09/MHM-Module-19.pdf: 403 Forbidden- You don’t have permission to access this resource.
On the other hand, a PDF document added to the media library without going through Download Monitor is accessible without worries (example: https://segpa.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Decouverte-N°6-LAustralia.pdf )

I can’t find any other solution paths, if necessary I can give you access to the site to check an environment that was stable yesterday and not stable today.

    Thanks for your feedback.`

    Hey @creazo ,

Could you try and do the following modifications – https://github.com/WPChill/download-monitor/issues/1030 – and see if this fixes your problem?

    Warmly,

Hello and thank you for your answer, I have exactly the same comment and I still copy paste to do the test.
No change and I have a weird information, my file is 770 lines instead of the 754 initially seen in https://github.com/WPChill/download-monitor/blob/4.5.97/src/DownloadHandler.php#L694 .

    My file link : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LhWCCaw6Go66-3IFXQ6LxTyOpxKzAsou/view?usp=sharing

    Hello @creazo ,

The file present in the github ticket I sent was from Download Monitor v4.5.7( as the ticket was created around that time ), it is normal that your file is bigger/has more lines.

I am sorry but I did not quite understand, did you do the modification and nothing changed?

Also, could you please tell me how your downloads are entered on that page? Some appear to have the download link, others only have a #.

    Warmly,
    Razvan

    Hello,
I thank you for the time of exchange but my level of English and technique is not sufficient to exchange correctly on these precise questions and I am sorry… On the other hand I can contribute by giving you access to the site and maybe FTP if needed.

All my downloads are returned from the extension with the plugin method, I do not understand this insertion of “#”
When I edited the comment, nothing really changed.
I went back to 4.5.99 to return to operational functionality in the meantime.

    Regards

Same issue with 4.6.2 – downloads would never finish and eventually would fail.

Commenting out lines 674 – 679 in the /src/DownloadHandler.php file did work for me.
