I am not 100% sure what you’re referring to. Can you provide an image?

I will say that 2.4.2 is a year and a half old, but we do still have the feature where your posts can offer related posts at the bottom of articles.

To turn this feature on or off, you should be able to go: customizer options > main content > single posts, “Single – Related posts” and then select the option you want.

I think what might be happening is that you may have clicked on Single Pages rather than Single posts.
Single posts (articules in french) has the option; Single Pages does not.

But, as you can see on your test page, the current version of the theme does have the option.
