Dosn't save lightbox effect!

When I choose to get my NGG galleries with a lightbox effect, it “forgets” it… ??
I go in to the controlpanel, set it to lightbox effect, press save..
Then if I go to my sites controlpanel again (to wright og edit something), I get this message!“To use a different gallery effect, please deactivate Fancybox on the NextGEN Optimizer settings page and return to Gallery –> Options –> Effects to make your changes. ”
It dosn’t save the lightbox effect!!!
I’m going crazy here! I have three websites, where it works perfectly, and two website it dosn’t! ??
I have installed it the same way every 5 times I have installed NGG!WHY dosn’t it save the lightbox effect?!
