Dots next to Footer widgets

I am using the default constructor theme (loving it. btw!!), but am having a little issues that is making me slightly crazy.

I have added two widgets to my Footer and to the left of each one, is a small black dot. It almost as if it is treating them a list items.

How can I fix this and makes these dots go away??

I am a total noob and know nothing about the CSS except how to break it.
