Double article in structured data

  • Hi
    Rich result tester shows two items in article section.

    First one (type: article) good. No errors and all seems fine. Except the type should be recipe, as we mostly post food recipes.
    Second one (type: blog post) 5 non critical errors. It also sees author type: Person – which should not be.

    SET UP:
    – WP theme Pennews
    – SEO by Yoast
    – WP Recipe Maker Plugin

    Now the question: What is wrong and how we can fix it?

    Already asked from Yoast and Recipe Maker support but they have no answers. Site Health Plugin sees no conflicts anywhere.

    The OG tags added by Yoast appear to be all correct. Apparently the issues are within the LD+JSON data. Core WP does not output LD+JSON data. It’s presence is due to either your theme or one of your plugins. Do you know which one it is?

    If you don’t know, selectively switch themes and deactivate plugins until the ld+json data disappears from the page’s HTML source code. (search source code for “p:domain_verify” to find the data, if it exists)

    Once you know which module is responsible, take up the issue through that module’s dedicated support channel.
