Double clicking for ticket amount

    Hi,

    We have The Events Calendar plus application for our ticketing system. We are loading the ticket box with a shortcode provided bij de plugin documentation.

    When you select a ticket amount and click order, an additional screen is loaded and the ticket amount should be equal to the selected amount. But it always has 0 as ticket amount. People need to select their amount twice.

    The plugin support says it is because we are loading it via shortcode. But if we don’t use the shortcode we can’t place the box any other place then the end of the webpage.

    Is anyone experiencing the same problem and knows the solution?

    I see you are using a shortcode. If you select the ticket amount on the single event page, not using the shortcode, are you seeing the same issue?

    Hi Chad,

    If not using the shortcode, it does not conflict.

    But it will only be placed at the bottom of our page. While our ticketbox is halfway on our page.

    Thanks for clearing that up!

    I understand that you’d like to display the tickets block twice on your page, possibly to provide accessibility to users.

    However, our developers recommend that each event should only have one ticket block, as duplicating tickets could cause glitches, not only on the frontend, but also in your stats.

    You’re still free to use the shortcode on any other page, though, as long as it’s not within its own event.
