    Hi @khubaib411,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Could you please explain how you discovered that AIOSEO is adding duplicate domain names in your permalinks?

Based on the screenshot you provided, the report appears to be outdated. I recommend clicking the “VALIDATE FIX” button if you see it on your Page Indexing > Not Found (404) screen, as shown here: https://a.supportally.com/i/ZVl3ex.
    ?
?Alternatively, you can resubmit the homepage to Google Search Console’s URL Inspection Tool so that Google can crawl the URL and check for the latest changes.

Please let me know what you find!

Thanks for the response. Google Search Console is showing me links that contain a double domain and are resulting in a 404 error.

    Actual link (indexed): https://khubaibtech.com/blog
Error link: https://khubaibtech.com/blog/khubaibtech.com (Google Search Console displaying this link as 404 page not found)

Should I use redirection to fix this? I have validated these links in GSC.

    Hi @khubaib411,

    Thank you for your follow-up!

If the pages do not appear on the report after pressing the “VALIDATE FIX” button, you are done, and no further action is needed.

Here’s an interesting reference article (FAQ answered by Google’s John Mueller) on SEJ about this topic: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-search-console-404-errors-report/499751/

If the page isn’t meant to exist, then having it return 404 is expected.

Usually, if a valid page on your website has been moved without a redirect being put into place, the easiest way to solve this is to implement a redirect. You can implement a 301 redirect if the page has been permanently moved, or you can implement a 302 redirect if the page has only been moved for a short period.

You can learn more about this here- https://seotesting.com/google-search-console/url-not-found-404-errors/

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks!
