DOUBLE double-quotes with “
-
I’m starting a blog to write about software engineering. It will include lots of coding examples in C#, C++, HTML, and XML, so I’m struggling with how to embed code. I’m using
<pre>
with Preserve Code Formatting 2.5.2. I notice is that the resulting code is displayed in a doubly-nested dotted line, each with its own quotes.That is, the code is a displayed in a dotted-line box with a double-quote symbol in the corner, and this is displayed in ANOTHER dotted-line box with a double-quote symbol in the corner. See an example at: https://blog.nelsondev.net/
So why nested boxes? Is this a “feature” of the theme, Preserve Code Formatting, or what?
