• Hello,

Thanks a million for your plugin!

I have followed up your guides for the setup.

In Google Ads i can confirm that the 3 parameters are delivered, together with IDs. For a strange reason, I get the error that “100% ecomm_prodid do not match your feed”.

Using the google tag assistant, i can confirm that products get validated successfully using the Merchants feed.

So I’m trying to figure out what is it happening.

I have reviewed the dataLayer data, and I see that the three ecomm variables are being sent twice: 1 in the basic message, and 1 in within the google_Tags_params variable.

Could that be there reason? Why ecomm data is being sent twice in the dataLayer message?

    Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Don’t you have a prefix for product IDs in your feed that is missing from your tracking codes? For example a product might be reported with the ID 123 in your tracking code but perhaps in your feed it is included with the ID “someprefix_123”?

    Hello Thomas,

Nope, it doesn’t. Both feed and tracking have identical IDs. As the Tag assistant is validating correctly the products, but the actual tag in Ads does not, maybe it’s a problem of the data being sent twice in the data layer?

Perhaps, it is hard to tell.
I’ve seen many similar issues in our ad accounts as well, maybe it is a reporting bug on the GA UI
