Double Home Header

Hello I would like to have only (1) Home header rather than (2). When I go to any header other than Home (2) Home Headers appear. I tried going to settings-reading and setting my front page to a static page which is the home page I also tried deleting the following code “<span>” title=”<?php bloginfo( ‘name’ ) ?>” rel=”home”><?php bloginfo( ‘name’ ) ?></span></div>” from the header.php

I still cannot get rid of the double header.
