Double HTML sections when Royal plugin is enabled

  • I support a site built by another developer. Their SEO person said their Google Tag scripts are duplicated and after digging around it turns out the entire <head> section is duplicated. After quite a bit of experimentation it appears to be related to some kind of conflict between the Astra theme and Royal Elementor Addons and Templates.

    The extra <head> section goes away when I disable the plugin and reappears when I re-enable it. Similarly it goes away if I switch to a different (classic) theme and returns if I re-enable Astra.

    Summary:
    0 The problem occurs even when all other plugins are disabled.
    – The problem goes away if I disable the Royal plugin, or
    – The problem goes away if I switch from Astra to a different classic theme

    Have you seen this behavior elsewhere? Can you suggest solutions? Thanks.

    Please Navigate to Tools > Site Health > Info (tab) and click on the “Copy site info to clipboard” button, then send the information to our email: [email protected]

    Also, navigate to Tools > Export – choose All Content and click on Download Export File and then send this file to our email – [email protected] as well

    We will analyze your system and replicate the same case. This will help us to debug the issue much easier and provide a faster solution.
