When I used the plugin to change internal URLS that read https://www.highschoolcollegesupport.com to mombehindthecurtain.com, it appears to have added a double https to every link that was updated, for example the link for the text “students do more prep for the SAT” now reads
    https://https//www.mombehindthecurtain.com//sat-improve-score/

I didn’t put https: in the old OR new url, so I’m don’t know why it did this, but it won’t work this way.

(I’m attempting to restore to my old version using updraft plus, but I seem to have a problem with my web host using LiteSpeed webserver. Working on resolving that now.)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi ES Ivy,

I can’t say how the extra https was added if it wasn’t entered because the plugin only uses the entered strings and does not attempt any sort of URL scheme which is not entered. The basic version does not include history nor URL testing so we can’t check that.

You may run the plugin again using the following settings to remove the the extra https.

    Old Url: https://https//www.mombehindthecurtain.com

    New Url: https://www.mombehindthecurtain.com

    Have a great night!

Thank you! That’s an amazing response for plugin help. When restoring from backup I found that my host is using the LiteSpeed web server to host my website – a new warning on my Updraft dashboard. I wonder if that causes any bugs?

I have the issue resolved. Thanks very much and have a great day!
