    Hello,

    I just downloaded the plugin.
I like it’s functionality, but there is some issue when uploading a pic.

I am using a test installation of WP now, this is the newest version with no other plugins installed. Since the beginning my CG plugin uploads every image twice.

How could I fix it? I did not change anything in the code yet, all the plugin files are just downloaded.

    Cheers

  • Hello kicia,

    thank you for this note.
What kind of test installation you use? It’s a kind of localhost?
Does this happens when you uploading in backend? Or when you uploading in frontend after creating an upload form?

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards

    Hello,
    Thank you for your answer.
This is a normal WP 4.3.1 installation, I called it “test one” because I use this single installation to check plugins and other things. So this is a newest WP with only one other plugins installed, on a theme Twenty fifteen. It’s online on my ftp.

The issue occurs when uploading a picture in a frontend. I created a single upload form, there is not any option of duplicate image while uploading. Besides this issue the plugin is working fine.

My Contest Gallery is working with an Ultimate Member plugin and the upload form was created on one of it’s tables – I want my site users to be able to make their photo galleries. It works well, uploads in fact a picture one time (there is no duplicate in media library). But the uploaded pic is displayed twice (the whole form with title and review). Before uploading the form is single.

    Kind regards

    Kicia

    Hello Kicia,

thank you for this exact explanation. I have to test the workign with Ultimate Member plugin.

btw: what if you insert the upload short code on a normal clean page, without Ultimate Member plugin surrounding. Does it upload still twice then?

    Best regards
