Double lightbox

Have you any other plugins with a lightbox activated?

No, but the theme itself has a lightbox option.
When I disable that, I only see one lightbox, but it is the deformed one.

Ah, this is a known issue: please use the development version. See here.

When using example.com/albums, what code to I need to update to change the title of the page from “Archives:” to something more meaningful such as “Photo Albums”

Please make a copy of the file archive.php (in your theme foler) and name the copy archive-easy-photo-album.php.

Search in archive-easy-photo-album.php for a line that looks like

<h1><?php post_type_archive_title('Archive', true);?></h1>

Replace it with

<h1><?php post_type_archive_title('', true);?></h1>

or just

<h1>Photo Albums</h1>
