Double Meta Description on

    Hi Yoast! support,

    We using WordPress Version 4.7.19 and Yoast SEO plugin v4.5. Client can’t update WordPress and Yoast to latest version due web hosting privilages.

    What we want to know, why meta description show double on <head>? with this setting, Google show meta description from default WordPress (not Yoast). Can we override it if possible?

    @haryowicaksono If you aren’t able to update WordPress or the Yoast SEO plugin to current versions due to issues with your webhost, we’d recommend finding a new one. Unfortunately we aren’t able to offer support for anything other than the current version of Yoast SEO and the last two current versions of WordPress.

    Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/
