Double Post URL Created Automatically

  • Hi i created this blog post on my website

    whitesmiledental.ie/nearest-dentist-to-me

    it ranks on page 1 on google (ireland) – but also out of nowhere there is a kind of double URL too that is ranking also above the original blog post ranking

    whitesmiledental.ie/nearest-dentist-to-me/nearest-dentist-to-me-2

    this second url only seems to be a page with page title bar showing and my featured image of my original blog showing too but really small.

    I did not create this second page and I dont know why it ranks? Does anyone know why this would happen and how to stop it?

  • I can’t access this 2nd URL at all. For me it redirects directly to the 1st URL. Have you set it up that way in the meantime?

    hey yes I set up a redirect in my wordpress dashboard. I cant access this strange second URL anywhere in my dashboard – its not in my posts or pages
