    Hi,

it might be a twitter account connected to facebook that does the second post to facebook. Normally MicroblogPoster auto publish only once.

Please check your other accounts (twitter, plurk etc..) if they are connected to facebook.

I know they are separate accounts..

    Please check this url: https://twitter.com/settings/applications

On top you’ll see the possibility to link your facebook account to your twitter account and when ever you make a new tweet that’s posted automatically to facebook.

Other than that I fail to see how you’d have 2 posts to facebook for the same post..

sorry what i meant was i have not connected any of the social networks to any others, my facebook is connected to a different twitter account and therefore cannot be connected with my sites twitter, i have double checked just in case and there is no connection between the two.

The two posts on facebook, are they excatly the same or you can spot any difference? That could help finding out from where does come the second one? It’s unlikely that it comes from MicroblogPoster but we can’t be sure though !

No differance that i can see if you look Here your see what i mean.

Which posts are the same?? I can’t see

You have similar posts but with diffrence that one starts with

    air.travel…
    and
    travel…

Other similar posts are in different categories and their url differs in that that one has ‘-2’ appended at the end.

Can’t see 2 exact same posts which you say to be the case.

ah i see that now, hmmm does microblog need to only be active on the main part of multisite then? ill look into it thnx for the help

Basically you need MicroblogPoster activated in each sub-blog where you want to auto post. You can deactivate it on the network level.

Please take a look at our FAQ, last question.
