    this plugin work with default theme of buddypress
    for your theme you can edit css theme

    Don’t really have the skill to do that, I would not know where to start.

    By the way, I don’t think it is the theme that is the problem per-se, I set up a test site using the theme and it worked, the error only displays on my live site so I’m thinking this is a site specific sort of thing.
