Double quotes and dollar signs

    Hi, I just installed the newest version of Huge IT forms and created a form. I have a few fields that have dollar signs and double quotes in their text labels. They seem to work fine in the editor when setting up the form, and they display fine on the site. But when I post a form and get the resulting admin email, the fields cut out the dollar signs and a few characters after. It also cuts off everything starting from the double quotes to the end.

    I tried replacing them with ascii codes (e.g. $) but it didn’t help. I replaced the double quotes with single quotes and it’s okay, but I don’t know if my client will complain about that. Is there a way this can be fixed, or do you know of a better workaround?

    Dear @ecadem thank you for using our plugin.
    After your post we have tested again but didn’t get such problem.
    It seems some symbols are restricted on your mail server. Could you please check same way but on another website(another mail server) and tell us what happened.

    I’m also having trouble with quotes and dollar signs. It truncates content in the email and I’m only receiving partial submissions.

    I need to use it with my current mail server so is there a solution to this? Is there perhaps an issue with the charset in your plugin’s mail script?

    freshpromo, I spent quite a bit of time on this and resolved it by putting a space after the dollar signs and using only single quotes. I’m assuming it was trying to interpret the dollar signs as variable references or something, so putting a space afterwards prevented that from happening. If this workaround is acceptable to you, then I’d recommend that. It has absolutely nothing to do with the mail server.

    Thanks ecadem for your help. However I decided to use a different plugin instead of continue to troubleshoot this one.
