Keep seeing this two slash error running SEO reports on by website:

    /wp-content/plugins/cost-calculator-builder/frontend/dist//sticky/sticky-sidebar.js?ver=3.1.90

Is there someway to correct that?

    Hi @jimsoda

    Thanks for contacting us.

While I wasn’t able to replicate the problem on my local setup using the latest versions, here are some troubleshooting steps that might help:

    1. Update the Plugin: Make sure you are using the latest versions of the Cost Calculator Builder plugin (Pro 3.1.63 and Free 3.1.90). You can update the plugin through the WordPress dashboard or by following the update guide here.
    2. Test with Updated Version: After updating the plugin, test your website to see if the double slash issue still occurs. The problem may have been resolved in the latest version.
    3. Check Compatibility: Ensure that your WordPress installation is up to date. Sometimes, conflicts arise due to compatibility issues between plugins and outdated versions of WordPress.
    4. Incorrectly Configured Rewrite Rules: If you are using custom rewrite rules, ensure they are correctly configured and do not add extra slashes to your URLs.
    5. Incorrectly Configured .htaccess File: If you are using an Apache server, check your .htaccess file for any rules that might be causing the issue. Make sure there are no rules adding extra slashes to your URLs.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the double slash issue in your website.

If you continue to experience the issue, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for further assistance.

    Best Regards

    Lisa

I have checked everything and nothing else has that double //.

    Page source where it happens:

Can’t figure out how it is generated.

    Hi Jim,

Thank you for keeping me informed about the issue. While I regret that the previous methods didn’t lead to a resolution, I appreciate your proactive communication.

I have escalated the matter to our development team, and I’m pleased to inform you that we’ve received a response.

While I’m unable to provide an exact version of the plugin or a specific date, I’m optimistic that our developers will implement the necessary improvements in the Cost Calculator Plugin by approximately next week to prevent the unexpected double slash issues.

Please follow our changelog and keep the plugin up-to-date. Hopefully, the update will address the issue you are facing.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Warm regards,

    Lisa
