Double slashes in category feed

For some reason I’m getting double slashes in the middle of my feed URL (after “category” so for each request I’m getting a redirect:

https://www.fxguide.com/category//vfxshow/feed/

I suspect this is because of my permalink structure, but should it be impacting the feed URL as well? Here’s the structure of our permalinks, which we’ve used for years:

https://www.fxguide.com/%category%/%postname%/

Is there a way to correct this for only the podcast feeds via function or something else?
