    Hello

    I have a bog problem

    some orders came with double tax!

    would you please help me asap

    please help me

    We just had the same issue and after a lot of troubleshooting at some point (maybe a plugin update or the browser of some admin reset the dropdown) the country of the shop at WooCommerce → Settings must have been changed. This was the reason for us and correcting the setting helped.

    my problem that not all orders came with double tax only some of them that why I am confused

    To better picture what you are referring to here, can you please share with us a clear screenshot of what you see on your end so that we could address you more effectively?

    Please also provide screenshots of the following settings below:

    • General Settings
    • Tax Settings, WooCommerce > Settings > Tax
    • Tax Classes (if any)

    Furthermore, can you check if there are any patterns on these orders having double taxes, like same product, same customer, same location, same payment gateway used, etc?

    Additionally, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    Furthermore, can you check if there are any patterns on these orders having double taxes, like same product, same customer, same location, same payment gateway used, etc?

    I’ll tell you what happened with a client:
    On the first day, he ordered an order and canceled it, on the second day, he ordered the same order, and it was double tax.
    Note that I put the option

    also I want to tell you that I disable( Allow customers to place orders without an account) uncheck it

    first order I see that in order details that customer profile is right but in second which is cam with double tax it is guest like that

    This is quite strange the returning customers purchasing again on your site are being charged of double tax at the same time they are identified as a guest account after placing the order, is that correct?

    Seems like a caching issue or your theme or another third-party plugin that is causing conflict on your site.

    Have you tried to replicate this scenario on your site and see if you were able to reproduce the same results as these customers?

    If so, please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled, then replicate the same process or ordering again and see if the issue has been resolved?

    If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers.     I try a test from my account several times but I don’t have this problem also I don’t have an order with guest account ..

    I have not suggested this yet but if you think that this might solve your problem, please give it a go.

    Upon checking our previous conversations, I can see that you have not yet tried my suggested solutions above:

    • switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled, then replicate the same process of ordering again
    • run a conflict test to verify if the issue is being caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site.

    Additionally, a screenshot of the whole order page having double tax would be helpful as well.

    ok but I want to clarify what happened to you

    You told me to choose default theme and test but I told you that this happened suddenly

    all orders came right except some of them and I don’t know why

    I make tax include but some of them came exclude

    this is my problem

    and when I try and do test without change theme, I dont have this problem and I dont know how it is happened

    Hello @fatima85,

    I understand how frustrating a problem like this can be.

    It might be a good idea to take a look at the function.php file of your theme to check if there are any custom snippets that override the tax behaviour.

    The order notes where this happened might contain some useful information as well.
