• Hey,

Wonder if you can help, I updated to the latest version which complained about the PHP version I was running. I updated to a newer version of PHP but this caused instability in my site, so I have rolled back. Once this was done I uninstalled the latest version of this plugin and re-installed the previous version from the developer section, however i’m now getting a php version alert for the previous version of the plugin.

    Any thoughts?

    Many thanks

I’ve removed all previous versions from www.ads-software.com to discourage their use.

PHP 5.4 was released in 2012, and as of 3 months ago is no longer receiving updates.
Please reconsider upgrading your version of PHP, remaining on an unsupported insecure branch of PHP is not a viable option.

I don’t know what version of PHP you tried which you thought was unstable, but you’ll need to reinvestigate that if you wish to continue using the plugin.

Unfortunately, my site is hosted on godaddy and they only allow 5.3 and 5.4, however moving to 5.4 caused some significant issues on the main page. I reverted back to 5.3 and the stability returned.

I was hoping to be able to continue running the previous plugin till further investigation could be done.

Any thoughts on why it would be generating the php error when trying to run the previous version of the addin?

It is fixed ?? looks to have been another plugin W3 Cache which was causing the issue, once removed, the site became stable again after the PHP upgrade.

    Thanks for the help.
