downgrade from Pro version to Free version intext:”Plugin: Polylang”

  • Hello, I got to mantain a website with Polylang Pro installed but it seems it is not purchased plugin, is it possible to make a “downgrade” and to overwrite this pro installation with free version? I can’t update plugin so it is very unsecure to work this way. Thank you!

    Hello,

    We switch from Polylang to Polylang Pro and vice versa every day. One plugin can replace the other. However, you’ll loose Polylang Pro features. Some of them are related to the URL structure (like the possibility to translate slugs (ex: category, author or post type slugs) and to share the same post slug or term slug across languages). If these features were used then you’ll experience issues by downgrading to Polylang as the URLs won’t match anymore.
