Downgrade question

    The website that I have to moderate had installed polylang version 1.6.4. Before upgrading to polylang 1.8.5 I made backups with a plugin called updraft. The problem that i have now is that some of my custom made plugins don’t work with the new version. By any chances can you please tell me how can I downgrade polylang back to 1.6.4.

    I deleted the 1.8.5 version via ftp and uploaded the old version 1.6.4, but the problem is that I get an error – critical error which say that I can’t activate polylang.

    The error is: Fatal error: Call to a member function set_home_url_scheme() on a non-object in mysiteurl/wp-content/plugins/polylang/include/model.php on line 199…

    Can somebody help me about this?

    now my site redirects me to the url containing: xonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/?taxonomy=language&term=sl/

    how can I repair that? :/ The page gives me ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

    Have you still this issue after restored your backup?

    I set “The language is set from content”
    and back to “The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks”
    and it somehow works now ??
