Downgrades to 3.7

    I have both this plugin and Automatic Updater. Last night my test site was upgraded from 3.7-RC2 to 3.8-alpha, as expected. Later today, as I visited the admin, there was a nag saying WordPress 3.7 was available. Shortly after that I was “downgraded” to 3.7-RC1 and got an email from Automatic Updater saying “We’ve successfully upgraded WordPress from version 3.8-alpha to version 3.7-RC1-25851, the latest nightly build!” A few minutes ago the site was upgraded to 3.7.

    The plugin is set to bleeding edge nightly builds.

    Is the confusion in “Automatic Updater” or in this plugin?

  • I think I got the same issue with the plugin. I’m stuck on 3.7 as well.

    I get this message on plugin screen.

    “Please note: There are no development builds of the beta stream you have choosen available, so you will receive normal update notifications.”

    The plugin wasn’t completely ready for https api requests it seems and so the switch to https by default disabled the plugins functionality.

    I’ve just pushed v0.99 which fixes this.
