Downgrading 2.6 back to 2.5.1

  • I’ve installed 2.6 two days ago and went abroad. I came back home today, checked Google Analytics to find out my traffic went to near zero.
    Apparently all works, it is just incredibly slow.

    Is it safe to replace files back with the 2.5.1 files and go to admin to change the db schmema?
    Will the database downgrade automatically?
    2.6 introduced quite some changes, but they are all useless to me anyway, so I am happy to downgrade.

    Forget about it.
    I am moving away from WordPress anyway. It’s been a great time here.
    I don’t want to be staring at ugly PHP anymore, Python works better for me.
    I’ll move Vizualbod web development to Django in a couple days.
