Our download all button appears to work but fails at about 3gb. I’ve tried changing the method of downloading but both options fail.

Desperately need this working for my customers.

Hoping you can help. I have sent a support request but yet to get a response.

  • Sorry you did not get a response in the support ticket system, but I see no record of a recent ticket from you.

It sounds like a server limitation issue here. Where is your site hosted at? Generating 3GB files is *very* server intensive and if you are on a cheaper shared web host it may simply not be strong enough to handle that heavy of work.

Thanks for the response… This was the message from my web support:

[28/08, 22:08] Stuart Duncan: You’ll need to contact their support to ask about php and apache recommended settings
[28/08, 22:08] Stuart Duncan: And is there is a way to set the compression level

Hopefully this means something to you?

I mainly recommend using the latest version of PHP and increasing available memory as high as possible at the server level and then you also need to set what WordPress is allowed to use by following this: https://www.sunshinephotocart.com/docs/increasing-memory-limit-wordpress/

We have upped our server memory allowance to 2GB and that has solved the problem!
