Download Archived Posts?

    Hello…I have archived over 300 posts. I would like to save them, but remove them from the server. Is it possible to download the posts in a folder…or even as individual post files? Thanks in advance.

    Sounds like you want to export your archived posts and then delete them?

    Go to Tools > Export and from here you can export posts by Status to a WXR file.

    Then go and move all those posts from Archived to Trash.

    Actually, I’m trying to find a solution for downloading all of the archived posts in order to save them to my hard drive. Just to maintain a record. And, I need to free up space on the website server.

    Any thoughts are appreciated.
