Download Button

  • hi there, I instealled maxbuttons and it looks great, except that I cant make a download button for an audio file. Is it possible? As it is, it just opens the audion at browser instead of downloading it.

    Hi,

    You can link anything to the button you’d like ( url field ). The browser will most probably start a download of the file like a normal link or play it somehow.

    If you want to control this, you should look for an WP audio player. A lot of plugins can be configured to do perform an action with a special ‘rel’, ‘extra class’, or ‘data’ attribute. Don’t know if there is anything out there for audio, but you’ll have to search for it.
