Download Button in RSS Feed

Plugin works great in WordPress, but when blog is sent to subscribers’ Outlook through an RSS feed, all they can see for the download is the shortcode for the button, without a link.
Is there any way around this?
Also, is there a way to make just a traditional text link, without the button?
