  • 1. I bought this plugin for a simple task: to allow the download of different files for different users.

    The description of the PRO plugin is missleading (“WordPress Download Manager is a Files / Documents Management Plugin to manage, track and control file downloads from your WordPress Site. Use Passwords, User Roles to control access to your files… etc…”).

    As it stands after the payment, the pro plugin does not do this task alone. One needs to buy a suplementar add-on to make it work.

    2. The button that gathers all the files in a single one does not work. The assistance is available but they ask for admin access in order to try to solve the problem.

    When I pay for some app I expect it to do what it describes/sells and to do it well at once. For my purposes this plugin does not work. 1 star.

    We have tested your reported issue a couple of times in our testing environment and it appears that everything works fine in our inspection.

    However, in your instance, it might be different due to configuration and that’s why we might have wanted to check it further.

    1. We have specifically mentioned on our site which feature is included with the PRO Version and which is not.

    Can you please let us know about a feature that we have mentioned and it’s missing/not working?

    2. The button that gathers all the files in a single one does not work. It might be causing such as you might have added the files from cloud storage.

    Can you please try once again after adding files by using Drop files, Media library or selecting from the server?

    I am also looking for a plugin that allows users to see documents that are specific to them and download them.

    The basic requirement/journey is:

      User created by admin
      Document assigned to user by admin
      User login credentials are given to user by admin
      User logs in
      User navigates to document section
      User sees documents that are specific to them only
      User has the ability to download

    Will Download Manager meet my requirements?
