Download Counter

  • Hi i am using [sdm_show_dl_from_category category_slug=”media” fancy=”2″ orderby=”date” order=”desc” pagination=”20″] shortcode and cant see the download counter. Is there anything I am missing? Any help would be great.

    Hi, try changing the fancy=”2″ to fancy=”1″?

    I did that and got the counter but due to certain restriction i need to keep fancy=”2″ template. Any possibility with that? Also I would like to add a custom link button alongside download button without tempering the plugin code but may be with functions.php. Any help?

    The fancy 2 doesn’t show the counter. People wanted a design without the counter so I created that design.

    Different people are going to want to different design so there is no one design that will satisfy everyone. You are free to edit the code of the fancy2 design and show the counter there.

    Is there anyway to do it through functions.php without touching the code? As you can see the edited files will be overwritten whenever the new version kicks in and updates the old files.
