Download counter switched back to hidden

Hi I’m using wpdm version 2.5.1
I want to display download counter in my download file, so I set the download counter option to “show”. But when I save (create package), that option is not saved (I think). It’s still hidden. I have to set it and save it again to do that.Thank you
