Download files from FTP location

Hi, I am using Filebase plugin in my site. I have to upload large files in my ftp server and download those files. I dont want to sysnc the file to filebase since the files are very larger in size. Is there anyway to upload and download the files from ftp server using ftp login credential? I want to list what are the files uploaded in ftp server and when i click the link download should start. Plz help me out to solve this.
