    Already found a solution: I added download=""

    in the <span id=”downloadLink”> in jquery.lightbox.min.js

    <span id="downloadLink"><a href="" download="" target="'+w.linkTarget+'">'+C.download+'</a></span>

    This is default behaviour in version 1.4.6 released today.
