Download Links Broken After Update

    The tmstv parameter is simply there for servers who use link caching, it does not affect the download in any way. Using that parameter, which is a simple timestamp, we can somewhat limit the caching of links which could trigger unwanted behaviour when trying to download a file.

    I see you have reported broken links after the update, could you please give some more details? Or is it about the parameter I’ve talked about?

    It’s broken all my links. test the link at the end of this tutorial https://wpsites.net/genesis-tutorials/genesis-one-page-gutenberg-theme/

    Hey @wordpresssites ,

    The links are not broken because of that parameter, seems like you are serving them on a https page from a http source and the browser is blocking them. Please go to dashboard > Settings > General and make sure both WordPress Address (URL) & Site Address (URL) are using https and not http.

    Please let us know if this was the problem and upon fixing it the downloads work.
